Localization

International experience in ammonia production studied

Representatives of the company and specialists of the Ammonia and Urea Production Complex became closely acquainted with the operations of the “Phú Mỹ Fertilizer” chemical plant located in Vung Tau, Vietnam. The complex, which uses ammonia (NH₃) production technology licensed by Haldor Topsoe, is recognized for its stable performance.

History of chemical industry

The chemical industry is one of the fundamental sectors of Uzbekistan's economy. It was established in response to the growing need to accelerate agricultural production through the construction of enterprises producing mineral fertilizers. The modern history of the Republic's chemical industry began in 1932 with the commissioning of the Shorsu sulfur-gold deposit.

State Program

In the state program approved by Presidential Decree No. PF–16 dated January 30, 2025, titled “On the implementation of the Uzbekistan–2030 Strategy in the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy,” a number of tasks have been assigned to JSC “Uzkimyosanoat”.
