Occupational Health and Safety Policy

Ensuring the preservation of employees' lives and health, creating safe working conditions, preventing injuries, and controlling industrial and emergency risks are undeniable priorities in the policy of the management of JSC "Uzkimyosanoat."

Compliance with occupational health and safety legislation is an important and integral part of the overall management system of the enterprises of JSC "Uzkimyosanoat" and is the key to the stability and improvement of the economic condition and well-being of all employees.

The main goals of JSC "Uzkimyosanoat" in the field of occupational health and safety are:

• ensuring the safety and health of employees during work activities;
• striving for zero injuries, eliminating emergencies and accidents;
• preventing the occurrence of occupational diseases.

To achieve these goals, JSC "Uzkimyosanoat" undertakes to:

• comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other regulatory acts in the field of occupational health and safety;
• continuously improve the occupational health and safety management system;
• assess all possible risks at employees' workplaces, considering the specifics and types of production, the nature of the risk, to identify potential and actual hazards, as well as manage risks in accordance with approved procedures at JSC "Uzkimesanoat" enterprises;
• develop and implement action plans and targeted programs to minimize and, if possible, eliminate risks, threats of accidents, emergencies, injuries, and employee illness, and to improve the health of employees;
• ensure labor safety and the preservation of the health of all personnel by taking preventive measures to prevent injuries and health deterioration;
• inform each employee about identified hazards and occupational safety and health risks in the workplace;
• increase responsibility and ensure the involvement of each employee, regardless of their profession or position, in fulfilling duties in the field of occupational health and safety;
• maintain and constantly improve employee training in occupational health and safety by organizing quality training;
• ensure the functioning of all levels of industrial control over the compliance and implementation of legislative and other requirements for occupational health and safety in the workplace;
• improve the level of safety and working conditions by ensuring accident-free operation of equipment and introducing new technologies.

JSC "Uzkimyosanoat" assumes responsibility for implementing this Policy by setting appropriate goals and objectives, planning, and financing activities to achieve them.
